OUR MISSION AND VISION
OUR MISSION
Established in 1977, BARD is a competitive funding program that supports
collaborative agricultural research in areas of mutual interest to the U.S.
and Israel. BARD works to support beneficial, mission-oriented, strategic
and applied research of agricultural problems.
OUR VISION
BARD’s vision is to fund and promote the translation of scientific excellence
into agricultural practice. This is accomplished by supporting joint US-Israel
applicable agricultural research & development (R&D).
