As a researcher who applied for a BARD grant, we would like to bring to your attention a funding opportunity provided by USDA NIFA. A number of AFRI Foundational Grants have a provision to grant international partners. US PIs can add up to $150,000 for Israeli partner/s per project (650,000+150= 800,000 total/project) when such collaborations or subcontracts clearly demonstrate benefits to both, United States and Israel (https://nifa.usda.gov/resource/afri-international-partnerships). More details can be found in the AFRI Foundational and Applied Science Program RFA. Below is a list of the program priority areas with provisions for additional international funding.
