We wish, our very own wonder woman, Iris Shiovits, all the best on her retirement from BARD, after an impressive 35 years. Here at BARD Iris says we are like family; spending many hours a day with the same people and sharing our joys and sorrows. Even though Iris’s retirement was expected, it is never-the-less bittersweet for all of us.

Her specific job for the past 22 years has been dealing with the numbers. Nevertheless, Iris always kept track of the big picture and used her creative side to suggest improvements for every aspect of BARD whether it is the remodeling or graphics or even just getting the staff out of the office for a field trip. She has always pushed towards excellence and it shows in everything she touches.

We welcome aboard our new team member Mali Friedman who will fill in Iris’s shoes as our new bookkeeper.
