1999-2001 - Ben-Gurion University in the Negev, Beer-Sheva. M.Sc., Fruit physiology of Cereus Peruvianus

2002- 2008 - Department of Plant Sciences, the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. Ph.D., Molecular responses of plants to salinity and drought.

2008-2013 - University of California, Davis; Post-doctoral research fellow; Developmental genetics of the fertilization process in plants.

2013 – present – MIGAL, Galilee Research Institute, Kiryat-Shmona; Principle Investigator Abiotic Stress Reponses in plants.

My lab studies plant responses to environmental stresses as well as sexual reproduction processes: double fertilization and early seed development. The research is carried out in model organism Arabidopsis thaliana as well as important regional crops such as apple and pear. The studies in my lab are carried out using genetic, molecular-biology, physiology and cell biology approaches.
